An Aikido Master's Life Strategy, Karl E. Geis
I first read this book back when I was training at World Oyama Headquarters where the practice was very competitive. It helped to keep things in perspective and to remind me of all the reasons why I was training. In general, I find that the more philosophically based martial arts books are rather disparaging of karate practice and, perhaps, with good reason, that aside, it is a great read. I believe that it is out of print, but there are still a few copies available from Honda Martial Arts Supply in NYC. |
